YOU SERIES ON NETFLIX

"What we are now is a reflection of our past."

You

When I first saw the thumbnail of "You" on Netflix, I ignored it, thinking (from the title itself) that it will just be about 2 people in love who feel the world is filled with butterflies and roses around them. When I watched it, I realized I was wrong because it is not a typical love story. It is a psychological thriller that revolves around the life of Joe Goldberg. He may be the ideal boyfriend any girl would dream to have --- caring, thoughtful, protective, dedicated, to mention a few. When he is in love with you, he will be your slave. But once you get to know his real colors, all your fantasies will vanish into thin air.

Joe is mentally ill. However, you will not notice that just by looking at and talking with him. He is keeping deep wounds that are not visible. Wounds that rooted from his childhood where he's witnessed domestic abuse a lot of times and became a victim of it himself.

As a grown up, he stalks and plots on how to pursue the women that he gets infatuated with and once they ended up in a relationship, he will come to the extent of committing serious crimes to eliminate anything and anyone who will stand in the way. He wants to protect those he loves and is obsessed about it because the people he counted on failed to give him that protection he needed as a child.

I don't find "You" as an ordinary drama. It may have a slow phasing  but each episode will get you glued to your seat, waiting for what the next episode will show. I loved how they weaved the 2 seasons into several episodes. Looks like everything was carefully planned and well thought of. Season 2 welcomed new characters and twists but the story did not lose its focus. Everything stayed clear from the very beginning. Penn Badgley played his role quite well. In fact, I find him perfect for the role and you won't know if you will hate or sympathize with him as you watch the show. The other actors did well, too. I also loved how they ended Season 2. It will make you look forward to Season 3.

"You" is about a good man with dark issues that kept on haunting him from his childhood up to his adulthood. Dark issues that still followed him and made him struggle as he tried to move on and start his life anew. There seemed to be no escape from his past.

Who says The Past doesn't matter? Of course it does. It will always be a part of us that will affect our Present if we leave it grey and unresolved. So there goes the thrilling story of "You".

THE POSSESSION OF HANNAH GRACE

Image result for the possession of hannah grace

I went on a diet when it comes to watching horror movies about demon possessions because I find that most of their plots are nearly the same. Not to mention, they show the same scenarios most of the time e.g. possessed women seducing men including their fathers and priests, rolling heads, floating bodies, a lot of abominable languages, gluttony, too much screaming, to mention a few. So, I got sick of them.  Whenever I see possession movie on my Netflix homepage, I would automatically snob it, dismissing it as another garbage that doesn't deserve my precious time.

But since The Possession of Hannah Grace kept appearing on my homepage especially on the recommendations category like it's begging to be noticed, I decided to give in with my fingers crossed, hoping that this one will be somewhat different...and I wasn't disappointed.

A former policewoman who's been struggling with addiction, frustrations from her failed relationship and the bitterness of blaming herself for the death of her police operation partner. She decided to do a career change and started working in a morgue as a night shift attendant where a strange cadaver was delivered. She started experiencing uncanny phenomena since that cadaver arrived. Her curiosity lead her to discover the mystery behind the carcass which seemed to be badly treated when it was still living.

At the end of the film, it is shown that killing the possessed and destroying its body does not stop the demon from wreaking havoc since it will only find a new suitable target.

V WARS - MY NEWEST NETFLIX CRAZE

See the source image

He took my breath away as Damon Salvatore of The Vampire Diaries. Now, Ian Somerhalder,  the handsome vampire to whom I've always liked to offer my neck for a nice bite is back on the new Netflix original series called V WARS, not as a vampire but as a doctor fighting for his life to come up with a cure for the virus that's turning humans into vampires fast. Vampires that want to rule and dominate the society. The virus was hiding in an ice land and was released when the ice melted. It so happened that best friends, Dr. Luther Swann and Michael Fayne were in the area and they were both infected. Luther though just became the carrier of the virus that can get people infected but doesn't have the other virus that can turn him into a predator that his best friend, Michael, now is.

The series show how the virus will continue to ruin lives, families, friendships, relationships and even the government if it won't be stopped. Even if Luther comes up eventually with a cure, it will be hard to convince the vampires to be treated as some of them won't want to give up their newly found abilities. They believe they are now a new breed. Stronger, wiser and far better than humans. It will indeed be a war especially now that the vampires have already penetrated the government and is staging how to damage the good relationship between humans and vampires that Luther and Michael are trying so hard to build..

V Wars premiered on Netflix on December 5, 2019. It's on it's first season that ended up with a cliffhanger. Can't wait for season 2 and more of Ian Somerhalder.

THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE

"Which is which?
Insanity can cause people to see ghosts or does seeing ghosts drive people insane?"

Image result for the haunting of hill house

This is the kind of horror I've always looked forward to watch. It's scary, full of suspense and well-crafted. I admire how the storyline was weaved. The cinematography is superb and the manor is truly breath-taking. I've always wanted to live in a manor. It's my dream home.

I dig horror flicks with psychological twists and transitions of present events and flashbacks. Such sharpen my calculating and gauging ability. I love how that feels. It's typical for paranormal investigators like me. We love it when our minds are being challenged.
I also love how the film suggested that not all ghosts are spirits of those that died. They can be the dark secrets and guilt we were hiding that need to mend because they will keep on coming back to haunt us and steal our joy and peace over and over again.
My original plan is to just check an episode or 2 because I hate watching sequels. I get pretty impatient whenever I do so and I would just keep forwarding the motion picture. But when the first episode started rolling, I was suddenly bewitched and I was glued to my sit waiting for what's next, what was and what is to come.

The Crain family tried to move on from the trauma of their past which broke them when they were still living in the Hill House. But the house keeps absorbing them back no matter how they tried to detach themselves from it. Having a lot of histories of death and insanity, the house became a host to the ghosts of its past owners and residents. When the Crain family decided to face the past and get past those dark times of their lives did they experience freedom from the powerful evil that oppressed them throughout the years and obtain clarity and acceptance that they were not just a nut loose family but the house is really being ruled by dark unseen forces.

And the haunting stopped when their past stopped following them.

SO CONNECTED

"Meeting each other is fate but staying with each other is a choice"

Are there really soulmates or do we only make ourselves believe that they do exist? Just because we think we know a person so well because we've seen so much of her online and felt so connected with her doesn't mean we really know who she is and what she is going through. We still need to be able to spend some time with that person to know what's inside out. One thing for sure. Meeting someone is fate but staying with her is a choice.

Karter only saw Trisha's photos and videos online but he can't understand why he was so drawn to her. He doesn't have a clue who she is and where she is but he tried to figure out how he can find her with all of his power by checking her photos thoroughly. And then he was able to find some relevant pieces of images and information on her pictures that lead him to her. He just can't miss the chance to see her in person and get to know her better. So he set himself up for the search without any assurance where to begin and if he can really find what he is looking for. The search where his heart won't be able to return.

This type of movie would certainly be enjoyed by teenagers and young adults. It is very wholesome. I watched it because sometimes, I just want to feel young and in love again. And though I love flicks that can scare the shit out of me and blow my mind a bit the most. I couldn't help but check on romantic films sometimes. It feels good to perceive myself as a teenager again intermittently.

ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE

"We sometimes meet the right person in the most unexpected way"

Some of the greatest experiences we have in life are those things that happened unexpectedly. We sometimes meet the right person in the most unexpected way and then, we just feel happy we met them.

Tin and Jake met each other after they were dumped by the persons they were dating. Both broken hearted and losing confidence in themselves, they found comfort and reinstatement in each other's company while helping each other to move on by finding new dating companions  until they realized that they can't enjoy other people's dating company anymore because the truth is their friendship has already evolved and they have fallen in love with each other though it wasn't part of their plan.

They thought they weren't each other's type but they found out sooner that they enjoy each other's company so much and they are just so good together. They feel complete when they are with each other.

I find this movie cute. Arci Munoz looks so good on the screen and I enjoyed her funny moments as Tin especially her hugot videos disguised as make up tutorials. If you are into romantic comedies you would definitely dig this flick.

GODS OF EGYPT

Horus lost his supernatural powers when  his uncle Set seizes the throne which, being the son of Osiris, is rightfully his. He only gained back his powers, his all-seeing eye and his crown when he realized that his true destiny is to protect his people. A tale that applies to real life where one can only unleash his true potential when he becomes the person he has to be.

I find this film entertaining. I love the impressive cinematography and special effects. It also boasts of its lavish costume designs and picturesque 3D creatures. I fave the sphinx and Anubis most of all.

The actor, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is truly fitting for his role as the god Horus as he is quite handsome and well-built.

The film's plot may not be spectacular but it's not bad and is easy to follow. The ending might be implying a sequel which may not be necessary  but is also not a bad idea. I would always want to see films that show the stories of people and the colorful heritage that shaped their culture. It's quite nice if they can introduce the other Egyptian gods, their stories and attributes in the sequels...if there will be.

GHOST WITCH MOVIE REVIEW

Ghost-Witch-2015-movie-legend-of-seven-toe-maggie-4

Mattie's father bought an old house situated on a lot where  a church once stood. She told her new friend, Zeke, about the bizarre events she had experienced there when she was still a child. Zeke, together with his group of amateur paranormal investigators went to the house to conduct an investigation for a few days, where they experienced a lot of strange phenomena that they originally dismissed as normal events. When one of them disappeared and then came back possessed by something and started killing some of them. They started believing that something paranormal is going on. They soon found out that a woman was tortured and killed in that church that once stood there and she's exacting revenge by messing up with them.

In my opinion, this wasn't a good film. I don't know if that is because they didn't put so much budget in it or if they did not put in too much effort to make it better. They should have done something more to polish the film, pull out the weeds and clean some more crap up. Some more elements could have been added to increase its potential.

Nonetheless, at least, I was entertained.

LESSONS I GOT FROM THE MOVIE THE DAY AFTER VALENTINE'S

MAPANGANIB MAG-ASSUME. You'll never really understand someone if you'll judge him based on assumptions. Being biased can make you think otherwise than what the person is really thinking and you'll never really know what he is going through. Unless you hear it directly from the horse's mouth, you'll never really understand what's going on.

DON'T FALL UNTIL YOU'RE HEALED.It is also dangerous to try having a relationship with someone if you haven't yet healed from a past hurt. You'll tend to get too excited about it and realize later on that you are not yet really ready for it. And then you'll back out once you lost the intensity of your emotions.

DO IT FOR YOURSELF. If you have to fix yourself, don't do it for someone else...especially with the hope to be loved by that person in return.

DON'T PROMISE SOMETHING YOU CAN'T KEEP. Be careful when making promises. The person to whom you made the promise to will be broken if you break your promise. Promising something  no matter how light it may be to you can cause someone to hold on. Huwag maging paasa.

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. Sometimes, people are drawn to you because they think you are strong. They will look up to you because they see you shine but depart from you when they see your vulnerability. Showing your true colors and letting them love you for what you are is still beautiful like a rainbow.

Filipino Horror Movie Marathon Review 2

Image result for horror

ITIM

Being a classic, it lacks the scare and suspense which became common in modern horror films; however, it doesn't lack the substance of a good film Rosa's spirit can't rest because her boyfriend killed the baby in her womb to keep their relationship secret which also caused her life. She possessed her sister so that the crime will be revealed and she can finally rest.

NAY

Martin was left in the care of their loving family maid when his parents migrated to Singapore. He later found out that he has a terminal illness. To save his life, his Nay Luisa turned him into an Aswang. Soon he'll have to start hunting humans for food with Nay acting as his trainor and guide. Will he choose to embrace his new life or not is the question that will be answered at the end of the film

YANGGAW

In spite of being filmed in the Visayan language, it's easy to follow what's going on in the film even without using subtitles. A peaceful and happy family's life got embroiled when Amor developed a rare kind of disease that turned her into an Aswang. Will her family continue to protect her from being discovered and killed by the people in their town when she would no longer spare even her household or will they be the ones to sacrifice her?

SIGAW

Simple but nice. Not very scary but suspenseful.Marvin bought an old unit to start living independently from his mother.  A woman started to bother him every night by knocking persistently on his door. The woman is asking for help because her husband will hurt her and their daughter. He later on discovered that they are ghosts and they've been dead for 3 years.

BARANG

The film is good and well executed. People in Sta. Barbara are  experiencing mysterious death. The neighborhood is suspecting that Barang is the culprit. The souls of those who were killed by it do not rest because they can feel the pain of the curse even in the after life; hence, they haunt the living to ask for help.

TRAGIC THEATER

The film failed to maintain a focus. It may have a good intention however, a good intention is not enough to make a plot pull through. A group of spirit channelers attempted to exorcise a theater which is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of an accident that happened during its construction. Too bad it wasn't only ghosts that haunt the place but an evil spirit as well who is unknown to the other spirits. Sure Andi Eigenmann is very pretty in this film but her lovely face has never been enough to save it from it's failing plot.

Filipino Horror Movie Marathon Review 1

From October 31 to November 4, I spent almost all of my time doing a horror movie marathon in my house where I  tried to consume all the horror films I can find on Netfix and YouTube.
I would like to share with you what I think of some of the old Tagalog horror flicks I've watched.  I chose not to include full plots so I would not spoil your trip in case you wanted to check on them, too.

The following are the films I liked and would recommend you to watch if ever you'd want to do a horror marathon in the comfort of your home as well:

PATAYIN SA SINDAK SI BARBARA

A beautiful classic that shows the story of a good woman who had to fight the selfish will of her deceased sister who was her rival in love.

BANAL

This one's surprisingly good. 5 friends went on an adventure to a holy mountain. Unaware that it is a haven of shamans that control the fate of the climbers with the use of their craft while taking high quality women to serve as their sacrifice to their goddess. As the friends died one by one, they soon realized that their decision to go up the mountain which was thought to be sacred is very wrong.

SUKOB

Sandy experienced a series of bad luck after her wedding day which led her to discover a secret her father has been keeping from her for a long time. She has a step sister whom her dad abandoned a long, long time ago who got married a few days before she did. That brought both of them a horrible curse that took the lives of their loved ones one after another.

AURORA

I like this film as it is another living testimony that there is beauty in simplicity. A ship got wrecked because of an anomalous operation where the operators of the shipping line continued to accept passengers in spite of the fact that it's already very much overloaded. The coast guard refused to help  with the investigation to cover the truth.  The dead bodies of the passengers went on their own to the only house on the shore so they can be recovered by their loved ones as they know the authorities have already abandoned the rescue operation.

HUWAG KANG LILINGON

It may not be a great movie  but at least it did not waste my time. It's got a fair plot which evolved around a successful nurse who's been experiencing haunting. Eventually, it turned  out that she is psychologically disturbed because she hasn't recovered from her childhood trauma where she witnessed how her sister and mother were killed in front of her.

MAG-INGAT KA SA KULAM

Mira came back from a car accident with amnesia. Scary events slowly revealed secrets about her dark past and about a twin sister that she's had hidden from her family who later became the reason for her demise.

ILAWOD

It's not that scary but the plot was very well thought of. An elemental takes souls of people. It used to bother families in the province but it started to disturb a family in Manila when it followed a journalist on his way back home.

EERIE

Nice and suspenseful but there seems to be a missing ingredient in it that I'm not sure which. I just find it lacking substance. A guidance counselor of a prominent Catholic School got herself deeply involved in the investigation of 2 murder cases that took place in it by communicating with the ghosts of the murder victims.

On the other hand, here are some of those I didn't like and I feel only wasted my time:

MAGANDANG HATINGGABI

Not sure what this film is trying to achieve. If it's trying to be cute, funny or scary. However, none of the 3 was achieved. The film is lousy in everything. Even the plot sucks. It's nothing but a trying hard horror flick with a lot of noises. I feel like I've wasted 1 hour and 42 minutes of my life on it. It is about a bunch of teenagers who got lost on their way to wherever they are going. They were welcomed by a fat storekeeper who served them free meals to entice them to stay on while telling them some scary stories. It was later revealed that the storekeeper is an entity that waits for souls to pass by so he can take them for his amusement.

HIWAGA SA BALETE DRIVE

I find it very boring. The first part of the film is about a couple that encountered the ghost of a beautiful lady that haunts a house in Balete Drive. The second part of the film is about a boy who witnessed a crime using his psychic ability.

KWARESMA

It's a bit scary but I was not that impressed with the plot. It's about a family whose lives started to become disturbed by an evil spirit when they transferred to a house with a history of murder. The twists and turns that were shown on the film, I think, were not able to help the film escape from being a trying hard Amityville Horror

HIDE AND SEEK

The plot is quite similar to Kwaresma but is much more boring and shallow.

Aside from these, I've also watched some SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL sequels much to my disappointment. The first of the SRR sequels are pretty good like  Manananggal and Aswang but after the golden years of SRR the next sequels were mostly done in bad taste and shape...giving Filipino horror films a bad name.

After this horror film marathon, I wished that more quality Filipino horror films will be produced here in our country.

Insdious Chapter 3 - A Must Watched Horror Film

Quinn Brenner believes that her mother is trying to connect with her from the other side. Trying to invoke her spirit, she accidentally called out the malevolent ghost of a man who started inflicting misery on her and her family.

The film shows that some spirits could not get out of the dark because they are trapped in there and they do not know how to take themselves out; while there are spirits who are still there because they do not want to leave and would rather take people to join them in "TheFurther".

Insidious Chapter 3 is a horror film but there are certain scenes that made me find myself teary-eyed on my seat:

Seeing how hard a family is trying to cope up with the loss of a loved one; how a psychic is torn between her desire to use her ability in helping other people or keep the peace of not having to brush off shoulders with evil entities anymore; and how some souls are tormented and forced to commit harmful measures because they know nobody who can help them deal with what they are experiencing.

If you are looking toward watching a horror movie that will not only scare you; but will also touch your heart, do not hesitate to watch Insidious Chapter 3. For someone who does not get easily impressed, I should say that this film did not fail to impress me. It is well crafted, well-researched, fast-paced and it tackled a lot of topics that most supernatural and paranormal scholars believe in.

It did not showcase a lot of bloodshed and screaming scenes, which I highly appreciated as a viewer because I am no fan of overly violent films; but still, it is effectively scary. As a movie reviewer, I give it 5 stars.

I Wouldn't Want to Say Goodbye to Nino

I never liked heavy dramas; however, I am a big fan of light and heart-warming soaps, especially if they teach viewers powerful life lessons. And this is one of the things I liked about Nino.

This GMA7 show starred Miguel Tangelix as an inspiring teen who, in spite of his retardation, touched and changed the hearts of many. His foster parents brought him up in love and taught him how to be a good person despite the challenges brought about by the narrow-minded people around him.

Nino would always wear a smile on his lips, promote peace and forgiveness wherever he goes, and remind people to look at the brighter side of life at all times. He was known by everyone in their town because of his lovable characteristics.

His life may have been short but it became so meaningful because in every step he takes, he never fails to help and make people happy.

I was never able to watch Nino on a regularly basis because of work but whenever I get the chance, I would. I always get impressed at the remarkable acting shown by the actors. All of them gave justice to their roles. I was very much saddened now that a show like this had to end...and the ending is quite tragic because Nino had to sacrifice his life to save the whole town of Barangay Pagasa.

On Nino's funeral, everyone talked about how they will miss his happy nature and the inspiration he gave the community. So do I. I will miss him too. I wish that TV networks will continue to produce more inspiring shows such as this one. Though it hasn't been aired for a long period of time, the time I spent watching it became truly worthwhile.

Pacquiao-Marquez III - A Fight to Remember

I admit. Pacquiao-Marquez III is the only Pacman fight that made me extremely nervous. I am certain that every Pacman fan felt the same. Why? It is because I was disenchanted to see an unusual Manny Pacquiao on the ring; lacking the typical power and aggression that I always see in him whenever he fights, or is it just because he’s finally met his match?

Both fighters are tough and they fought very well. I've nothing to say but praises to both of them because they were able to give boxing fans like me a first-rate combat that is truly worth watching. They never failed to impress me in every round. It was indeed a blow by blow fight. Marquez never left the blows that Pacman delivered unanswered. This is one of the factors that made this big event exciting to watch.

I eagerly waited for this day because I wanted to know who the better fighter is. Seeing the performance of the both of them, I started to think that whoever among them wins wouldn't really matter at all. They are both very good and deserving; but being a Filipina, of course I want Pacquiao to win; and he did, just as I thought, by a majority decision. I somehow knew that this time, he won't be able to knock the epic Mexican boxer down. After hearing the decision, the only thing that I was able to do is give out a sigh of relief. At last, the torture is over. The tension is gone.

Juan Manuel Marquez lost on the technical aspect but for me, he isn’t a loser after all. He wasn’t able to bring home the title but he brought home dignity because he will now be remembered as the only fighter who made it quite difficult for Pacquiao to protect his crown. He really gave him a hard time and a serious pain in the neck.

Honestly, I wasn’t really happy to hear that there will be another Pacquiao-Marquez showdown. In fact, the first thing that came into my mind then is, “Why can’t this Mexican boxer accept the fact that it’s over and Pacman won over him?” On the contrary, after watching this bout, I understood where JMM is coming from. I realized that he has all the right in the world to call for this challenge.

I don’t want to sound judgmental nor exaggerated; but I think JMM is the only fighter on the ring who has the right to repeatedly challenge Manny. That is because he knows he’s got the potential to beat the Pinoy Pride. Well, it wasn't a bad try after all :-) It was undeniably a very good attempt. He almost made it. In fact, he believes he is the real winner. Who can ever blame him?

I really disliked the idea of doing Pacquiao-Marquez III before; but now, I am eager to see a Part IV. Not because I want any of the 2 fighters to prove anything; but simply because they’re truly a match. I'd truly enjoy watching them making a stand on the ring for whatever they are fighting for. I don’t even care if there will be a V and a VI.

I wish Marquez will call for another challenge; only this time, I hope he’ll be a good sport ^_^

TV5's Magic Gimik - I Am Protesting Against This Show

We have so many magicians in this Philippines and I believe that most of them should be respected because they work so hard to hone their skills just to make other people happy. I am happy to know that there are some Filipino youngsters that are becoming more drawn to learn the art of magic rather than getting involved in vices and wrongdoings.

Magic is a form of entertainment and we all know that magicians use tricks; however, I don’t think it will be fair to reveal their tricks to the public. I am appealing to TV5 not to air this show because it will ruin the livelihood of Pinoy Magicians. Maawa sana tayo sa mga magicians natin. Tatanggalan ba natin sila ng kasiyahan at kabuhayan?

Let’s not make fun of magicians. We should be proud of them because they learned those tricks to entertain people. And they've invested a lot of time and money to become good performers. I’d rather see a magic show that would feature various talented magicians keysa sa isang show na ide-debunk ang magic at sisirain ang mga madyikero natin na nagpapasaya lang naman ng mga tao.

Imagine, the debunker on this show is a foreigner. This means we will allow someone from another country to destroy the reputation of our local magicians. Avid viewer pa naman kami ng TV5 pero we will definitely boycott this show.

Gangster Love - Metamorphosis

Gangster Love Metamorphosis won the Singapore Star Awards 2007's "Best Drama Series". It starred three of Singapore's most talented artists: Rui En as An Xiaoqian, Chen Hanwei as Ouyang Li and Terence Cao as Di Lun

Supporting stars are Chen Guo Hua as Cao Zhongming, Ng Hui as Mya Sun Meiya, Julian Hee as Meng Tianbao, Yvonne Lim as Wen Wanrou, Ix Shen as Ryan Hou Laien (Executor), Thomas Ong as Hu Xicun (Judge Ironfist) and Nick Shen as Zhang Shaoqi (Reaper). It is now being shown here in the Philippines and is being aired from Mondays to Fridays at TV5.

Personally, this is my noon time choice in terms of TV shows. Not that I don't enjoy ABS-CBN's Wowowee or GMA 7's Eat Bulaga; it's just that there is something about this thriller-drama that caught my attention, which made me think it's worth watching. Every episode excites me and leaves me begging for more.

I can say it's well-done. It shows a bit of violence since it's action-packed; however, the fight scenes are well-crafted. Moreover, in spite of the fact that it's filled with action, it also got a lot of heart-warming scenes.

The story revolves around a special team of policemen, which is led by Xiaoqian (Rui En). With their combined skills, all six of them worked on solving various cases, despite their different points of view. The serial shows several twists and turns, which makes it more exciting to watch. All actors delivered great performance; and that made me fall in love with the show more.

I highly recommend this TV serial to everyone. It is even safe for kids to watch. It surely has a thrilling and touching ending so you better not miss it. It's already on it's third run and might not be rewound anymore. The theme song is also very addicting. I'd always love to hear it play.

If I will be asked to rate this program from 1 to 5 stars, I will definitely give it a "5". I find it flawless and you'll experience no dull moment with it.

Remembering Dill Mill Gayye Season 1

Dill Mill Gayye talks about the story of 5 surgical interns who became good friends. Every moment they spent inside the Sanjeevani Hospital became truly colorful. They faced a lot of pressures, drama and humorous incidents as young and aspiring doctors; however, everything became manageable.

Riddhima plays the protagonist. She is a 21 year old intern with high hopes of becoming the best in her class. She was brought up well by her parents, her father in particular, who is a respected doctor. She has a very strong desire to make her father proud of her and worked extremely hard to earn his praise.

What makes Riddhima outstanding is her capability to stand the test of time. She can get out of every privation she encounters while keeping her integrity intact. She has the type of faith that never tails off despite the hard times.

Dill Mill Gayye, most of all, is a love story. The story shows that love can blossom in any place and time. Riddhima and her co-intern Armaan started with a love-hate relationship. Like Riddhima, Armaan aspires to be a very good doctor.
